Since 2023

Since 2023, NEOGEO has been supporting the Garonne, Gascogne and Pyrenean Tributaries Public Agency (formerly SMEAG) in the redesign, deployment, and maintenance of the Garonne Observatory, a leading platform dedicated to the centralization, analysis, and dissemination of data related to the Garonne basin.
Based on OneGeo Suite, this platform provides public stakeholders, partners, and citizens with geographic data, indicators, territorial profiles, and mapping tools that promote territorial observation and decision support in the field of water and aquatic environments.

Challenges

  • Centralization and enhancement of knowledge produced on the river basin to support public policies for the sustainable management of water and aquatic environments.
  • Facilitated data sharing between the various territorial stakeholders.
  • Facilitating access to environmental information and providing analysis and visualization tools to inform decisions regarding biodiversity, water quality, climate change, flood prevention, and land use planning.
  • Scalable solution thanks to its modular architecture: regular integration of new data, features, and use cases.
